My friend Sam (from Denver, who just moved to Atlanta) is coming for Super Bowl Sunday!!! I am SO EXCITED! We have celebrated multiple Super Bowls together, so this is such a nice surprise! Taking a personal day today.
I have class in 30 minutes but I’m not going. Because I can’t move. Really, I am so sore from walking around Tampa all day Saturday (literally, 7am-midnight) that it hurts to even sit up in bed.
The weekend was interesting though, and if I manage to ever fully process it, I’ll tell you all about it. Right now I think I’m going to take another painkiller and go back to...
So my fun weekend out of town has quickly turned into what could very well be a horrible awkward weekend out of town, for reasons that I don’t want to get into at the moment.
I probably just shouldn’t go. But I’m stubborn. So I will. And will most likely be miserable.

Long day today ...
Thursdays are going to be rough this semester. I have class 11-6:30 (with a 3 hour break in the middle) which I know, doesn’t sound horrible. But it is, trust me.

Woke up with a cold.
Apparently my body did not have as much fun this weekend as I did. But seriously, wtf? I never get sick and I was sick pretty much all break, and now this? I have stuff to do, I don’t really have time to be all sniffly and gross.

First Day of Classes ...
I only have one class, and it starts at 11 … but I’m going to school early so I can read in the library. I know, so responsible.

Planning on getting back around 4pm so I can get organized and figure out what all I need to do before classes start Monday. Not planning on going out, but we’ll see if that happens. It’s been a nice break at home with the family, but I’m ready to have a social life again!
