I really liked 2010.
I’m not ready for it to be over yet.
And 2011 is stupid. It doesn’t even sound real. Ugh. I just can’t imagine anything good happening in such a ridiculous year like “2011.”
But whatever. Happy New Year, Tumblr!
What I've Been Doing:
read “Freedom” by Jonathan Franzen (it was ok - not the best book I’ve read, not the worst)
went shopping at the mall (bad idea) and bought a new pair of jeans that actually fit (good idea)
read “Last Night at Chateau Marmont” by Lauren Weisberger (awful chick lit book, but I needed something mindless to read after “Freedom”)
watched The Walking Dead...

Cute! And way more advanced than my science fair project that asked whether plants grew better with or without fertilizer …
Life Update:
Had a really fun time during Tara’s visit :)
But now I have strep throat (which doesn’t seem to be getting any better) and it hurts a lot and I just want to feel like a normal person again.
Got 2 grades back - my second and third highest grades in law school. My second highest grade was in the class in which I almost started crying in the middle of the exam because I didn’t...

Watched an alien movie with ____ last night and just discovered that the entire X-Files series is on Netflix Instant. I’m going to have really weird dreams for the foreseeable future.
Oh, and I totally just put a load of laundry in. Yay, productivity!
Leaving tomorrow morning for Orlando
Still haven’t done laundry. Or packed. Or cleaned. At this rate, I won’t make it down there until Friday.
(Just kidding, Tara! Well not kidding about the not having done anything, but I will make it to Orlando tomorrow haha)

Friends will be done with exams in just under 3 hours. Then it’s party time! Going to try and take things at nice leisurely pace today so I’m not home passed out by like 7pm.

Last exam tomorrow.
Part of me is glad that none of my friends are done until Friday so I will not be pressured to go out drinking immediately afterwards. Instead, I have grand plans to come home and clean my apartment and pack for winter break (which may - MAY - include a trip to Colorado?). Oh! And go to Chipotle. Because we just got two (!!!) in Tallahassee today and I’m a little excited.

Just waiting until exams are over for the day so I can find a space in the parking lot because it is COLD. Seriously, 40 degrees outside right now. WTF, I thought this was Florida?!
Things Making it Hard for Me to Focus:
ONE WEEK until I’m HALFWAY through law school!
I still have two exams left … crap. I need to study. Why am I on tumblr?
TARA is coming to visit! And we are going to do all the Christmas-y fun stuff at WDW and go to Harry Potter Land!
End of the semester social is next Friday. I can’t even imagine the level of bad news bears that is going to go down. SO excited.
